Inside the loop, under the trees
Sharon Woods sits in the pocket of south Charlotte framed in everyday usage by the Sharon Road, Fairview Road, and Park Road corridors. The exact neighborhood edge is informal and should not be confused with a parcel or school boundary. The neighborhood was platted and built out through the 1950s and 1960s, and the trees planted then are the reason people slow down when they turn in.
What makes it unusual is that it is finished. There is no phase two, no remaining acreage, no builder inventory. Every change since the original build-out has come through renovation, addition, or a careful rebuild on an existing lot — which is why a single street can hold an original brick ranch, a 1990s addition, and a modern-traditional new build without any of them feeling out of place.
